The UH5040R is a 5W unit with 80 Channels built for reliable but compact UHF communications. Due to its built-in AVS circuitry, it automatically detects narrowband and wideband transmission. In addition, the UH5040R allows users to choose from 38 CTCSS (Continuous Coded Squelch System) digital codes which enables them to adjust the incoming audio to the suitable level.
The AT850BK antenna included in the package is a durable elevated feed and fibreglass whip with stainless steel spring. It is a solid choice for all-terrain driving needs.
