How long can I run my fridge?
That comes down to your battery type and capacity in amp hours, how often the battery is being recharged, and the size of the charger feeding it. We size the system around how you actually use it, so you're not guessing.
What size and type of battery do I need?
It depends on how long you plan to camp in one spot without recharging, what accessories and appliances you're running, and whether there's an inverter in the mix. The longer you stay off-grid and the more you draw, the more capacity you need. We work this out with you before the build.
Do I need a DC charger?
For most dual battery setups, yes. A DC charger is a 12 volt charger that lets us match the charge profile to your battery type, whether that's lithium or AGM. It also has a built-in solar regulator, so we can run a portable or fixed solar panel straight into it.
Can you install parts I've supplied?
We fit our own brands and products only. That keeps your system covered under warranty and lets us stand behind every part of the build.
